SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN DIAPER GENIE! We had a Genie for our first child and I got so sick of paying for expensive replacement sacks. A friend had a Diaper Champ and I loved hers. So we bought it when we found out we were having our second child. The only issue I’ve ever had was that you really have to make sure the poopy diapers are well wrapped up. If there is just a little bit of a mess seeping out, it will mess up the sides of the diaper chamber and you will have to clean it. Its a little tricky to clean properly if this happens. Also, make sure that you dump it regularly when the diapers get larger, because once its full, its hard to operate properly. But hey, if you use cheap trash bags, then you can afford to dump it often. Also, I never noticed a bad smell unless I was changing the trash bag. Only when I opened the Diaper Champ to change the bag did I notice a smell, so it really kept the bad smell contained.
